OUR APPROACH
We don't do "maintenance adjustments" or lock you into endless treatment plans. Our goal is to fix the problem and teach you how to keep it fixed.
Dr. Michael is McKenzie Method certified—an evidence-based approach that emphasizes patient education and self-treatment. You'll learn what's causing your pain and how to manage it yourself.
Treatment combines manual therapy with corrective exercises. We want you independent, not dependent.
MCKENZIE METHOD (MDT)
The McKenzie Method is a globally recognized assessment and treatment system for spine and extremity problems.
It's based on finding specific movements and positions that reduce your pain—then teaching you to use them yourself.
Key Principles:
- • Thorough mechanical assessment
- • Patient-centered treatment
- • Self-treatment emphasis
- • Prevention education

COMMON QUESTIONS
Will I hear popping sounds during adjustments?
Sometimes. The sound is just gas releasing from the joint—like cracking your knuckles. It's not required for an effective adjustment, and we can use techniques that don't produce it if you prefer.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes, when performed by a licensed chiropractor. Dr. Michael uses evidence-based techniques and will always explain what he's doing and why. If chiropractic isn't right for your condition, he'll tell you.
Will I be sore after treatment?
Mild soreness for 24-48 hours is normal, similar to after a workout. This typically decreases with subsequent visits as your body adapts.
Do I need to keep coming back forever?
No. Our approach is to fix the problem and teach you how to maintain it yourself. We don't do "maintenance adjustments" or push ongoing treatment plans. Once you're better, you're done.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO for rehab services. For other insurance or self-pay patients, we offer transparent cash pricing and can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
