Melissa Zammichieli is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who serves as Medical Director of Moonshot Medical & Performance in Park Ridge, IL. She specializes in hormone optimization, metabolic health, obesity medicine, and longevity-focused care for both men and women.

With over 12 years of healthcare experience, she started her nursing career in Rush University Medical Center's Neuroscience ICU, where high-acuity, complex patient care sharpened her clinical instincts. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rush University College of Nursing, where she also served as a clinical nursing instructor.

After transitioning into primary care and then leading a medical weight loss practice, Melissa saw the same pattern: patients doing everything "right" but still not feeling like themselves. The missing piece was almost always in the data. That drew her deeper into hormone optimization, advanced diagnostics, and metabolic medicine — and ultimately led her to Moonshot.

As Medical Director, she oversees all clinical operations, treatment protocols, and patient care.
