Accessibility Statement

Our Standard

We build this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We check pages with automated testing (axe-core) and manual keyboard review, and we fix what we find in the page code itself. We do not use a third-party accessibility overlay widget. Overlays sit on top of a page and do not correct the underlying markup, so we correct the markup instead.

What We Have Done

• Pages use real headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can move through them in order.
• Text and controls meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum, including small print and muted text.
• Navigation, forms, quizzes, and booking work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
• Meaningful images carry alt text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Embedded maps and videos have accessible names.
• Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content, and the site works on phones and tablets.
• No content flashes, and nothing plays automatically with sound.

Known Limitations

• Third-party embeds. Payment forms (Stripe), maps (Google), and videos (YouTube) are built by those vendors. We choose their accessible versions where offered, but we cannot change their code. If one of them blocks you, contact us and we will complete the step with you another way.
• Downloadable guides and PDFs. Some older handouts are not fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send the content in an accessible format.
• Patient portal and booking. Online booking and the patient portal run on our clinic platform at moonshotclinic.com and are tested to the same standard. Every step available online is also available by phone.

Alternatives To The Website

You never have to use this website to get care. Consultations, DEXA scans, blood work, and follow-ups can all be booked by phone, and any form we ask you to complete online can be completed with a staff member in person or over the phone.
